I must agree with the previous review - the sites were hard to get into, at least over in the area where the park models are. We were here for 10 days & were charged the weekly rate & daily rate. I think that the rates are high for that particular park. The facilities were all clean, although we didn't use any of them. The staff was efficient & polite.

We stopped here for the night on our way to Colorado, but decided to stay a 2nd night so that we could check-out the area where they have the Balloon Festival in December. Father and son were working the evening we checked in and were very helpful. They offer a breakfast and dinner during the summer which we found reasonably priced and quite good. The gift shop is well stocked with a variety of items. A new waterfall feature is being built and looks like it will be awesome. We are thinking of staying here in December for the Balloon Festival if there isn't snow in the passes then.

We didn't have reservations & availability was nil so this park worked out well for us. We prefer our own bathroom & shower facilities so the lack of such was not a problem. We were in a spot where we had a spectacular view & were able to see the steam trains coming & going. Although close to the road we didn't hear any road noise inside our rig. We paid for a week, & stayed an extra day because of rain & chose not to hook up or travel since we weren't going that far. The couple who checked us in & were doing the watering duties, etc. were most friendly. Although there was no pool, restrooms, laundry etc. the price reflects the Durango area. We would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here going & coming from our destination & were most impressed with the sites, although gravel, very level, the cleanliness of the facilities, & helpfulness of the staff. If we didn't live in Paradise (Lake Havasu City, AZ) we would make this our winter vacation spot when the oranges are ripe. We were even given cold fresh grapes that had been picked across the road. We definitely would camp in this park when in the area again.

We chose to camp here when the weather decided to be in the triple digits - having only 30 amps it was very difficult to keep the motorhome cool without having to use the generator during the day. The sites weren't that level & our 40' motorhome barely fit. We had a view of the lake & were able to swim to get cool. We had reservations to stay an entire week, but because of the heat chose to leave early. It was a great place to stay & we didn't mind the drive to Yosemite Nat'l. Park. We would stay here again, but not in the summer.

This was a clean, well maintained park with friendly & helpful staff. It is a great park for an overnight or to stay for several days. We stayed here on our way to ND & would stay here again if in the area.

This is one of the nicest state parks that we've camped in. Most cannot accommodate a 40' motorhome. I would have rated this a "10" had there been full hookups. Each site is blacktop & has a fire pit & picnic table, with enough room to park your vehicle. Lots of bike & hiking trails. We only stayed 3 nights, but plan on spending 2 weeks next summer.

We stayed here several yrs. ago & this yr. while on our way to ND, crossed over from the OR side to stay here again. You can't beat the price - $10. with the Golden Age Pass! It was very clean & staff was helpful & very friendly, as were the other campers. It doesn't have all of the ammenities of a full scale park, but being on the river it doesn't need to be. Be careful that you don't turn too early for the park entrance as we did. No turnaround & had to back out...

This is by far one of the nicest RV parks in the area & puts you right next door to the "Spruce Goose" & in the heart of wine country. While the park is superior, the manager needs a course in customer service. We've stayed here several times while in the area, but while it was being managed by another couple. We would not return because of the manager's attitude. We are full time RVer's & have never encountered a manager such as this.

We normally stay at Crown Villa, but since we were only going to stay 2 nights we thought we would stay here. That was not a good idea. This park is not "Big Rig" friendly. On our way out we scraped the door & roof of our motorhome on trees that are along the exit. The Wi-Fi was poor, we were toward the back & could hear the traffic & could see old decrepit mobile homes on the other side of us. This park was not worth the price that was charged. We will not stay here again.

This is a nice park with cement pads. The sites could be a little wider & longer to fit the larger rigs. You have a view of the Sierra Nevada mountain range & in season you can see deer in the field. This is the second year that we have stayed here for a week. The laundry is clean & well maintained. My laptop worked fine, but my husband's did not pick up a signal.

We stayed here for a wk. on our Passport, but had to extend our stay at the regular rate ($28.00) because of medical reasons. This is a fairly new park & although there were only 2 washers & dryers I had no problem being able to use them. Both Laundry & Restroom facilities were clean. The pool is heated, but we saw no one in it the entire time that we were there. It's right next to the Club House. They were getting ready for their annual music fest, which they have twice a yr. It would have been fun to stick around, but we had to be on our way. The staff was friendly & most helpful. Should you need medical attention while there, you're in a good area. I was impressed at how quickly I was accommodated & how well. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is one of the friendliest RV parks that we've been in! I'll agree about the road noise, the 1st night we didn't get much sleep at all, but it was better after we purchased ear plugs. The roads are narrow, 2 cars cannot pass each other & the speed bumps don't help. The largest laundry is outdoors & when one resident monopolizes the machines it takes a while to get your laundry done. (perhaps a note re: thoughtfulness of others might help?) It is close to Orlando which is a plus & there are alot of in-park activities.

This is a wonderful park, sites are large & very private, however, the rudeness of the reservation staff leaves you with a bad impression. The restrooms, laundry areas & Club House are always clean. The Club House is too small to cater to a large group & they've had problems with the plastic chairs that they use. Wi-Fi is very poor. They need more antennaes to accomodate the number of sites. The only place that reception is good is in the Club House. The park doesn't offer planned activities. Activities were organized & planned by the campers. It is rumored that the park is for sale so that may explain the attitude of the staff.

This is one of our favorite parks! The staff are great. Being late Fall the pool was closed, but the hot tub was great. The Club House offers a great kitchen, big screen tv, games & an extensive exchange library. We will be back.
